Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our clients supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will manage warehouse distribution, coordinate transportation, and ensure efficient order fulfillment. This role requires strong data analysis skills, familiarity with ERP systems, and experience in supply chain management to support seamless logistics processes across various platforms including E-commerce, 3PL, and warehouse management systems.

Ability to operate forklifts is a required; relevant certification required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse distribution activities including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials management.
• Manage transportation logistics utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Oversee procurement and sourcing processes to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
• Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 for order fulfillment, pricing, and demand planning.
• Monitor freight movements, negotiate with 3PL providers, and optimize shipping costs.
• Conduct data analysis to identify process improvements in supply chain workflows.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, procurement activities, and shipping schedules.
• Support packaging operations and coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient order processing.
• Use CMMS for maintenance scheduling related to warehouse equipment like forklifts.
• Assist in developing strategies for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, supply chain management, or logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
• Experience with procurement, sourcing, freight management, and demand planning.
• Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and third-party logistics (3PL) operations.
• Strong data analysis skills to interpret logistics metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and materials management in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in using software tools like E-commerce platforms and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
