for an HR Assistant

 

M-F 8am-5pm @ $19.00

 

Duties include:

  • To maintain personnel training and development files, perform evaluation of effectiveness assessment, and ensure compliance with state training log requirements.
  • To collect and keep job applications on a regular basis.
  • Conduct applicant reference checks.
  • Maintain timekeeping and PTO records and prepare payroll reports.
  • Prepare monthly timekeeping reports as needed for the production department.
  • Work with the production department to prepare production employee schedule and distribute schedule.
  • To follow up and assist the orientation program for new employees.
  • To compile new hire documents and prepare personnel files.
  • Assist employees with employee portal.
  • To perform duties about personnel, administrative affairs and industrial relations.
  • To follow up and take actions in order to fulfill OHSA requirements.
  • To complete all additional duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Some college with Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and SAP knowledge is an asset.
  • To have knowledge of Industrial Relations, Occupational Health & Safety and basic legal practices.
  • To have knowledge of personnel and payroll processes.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
