Industrial Cleaner Associate

We are seeking a dependable Industrial Cleaner Associate to support the cleanliness, appearance, and general upkeep of the facility and surrounding property. This role is responsible for industrial cleaning, sanitation, light property maintenance, and assisting with basic upkeep tasks to help maintain a safe and organized work environment. Training will be provided for preventative maintenance tasks and gate house operations as needed.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands-on work, can use basic hand tools, works well with minimal supervision, and takes pride in completing daily assignments. This person must be reliable, respectful, safety-minded, and able to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning and sanitation throughout the facility and property

• Complete general cleaning duties using cleaning and sanitizing equipment

• Assist with light property maintenance, including painting and minor cosmetic repairs

• Change light bulbs and address small maintenance issues as assigned

• Operate lawn and yard maintenance equipment when needed

• Use power washers and small hand tools safely and effectively

• Train on and assist with gate house operations as part of a rotation

• Follow daily assignments provided by the supervisor and complete tasks in a timely manner

• Communicate progress and any maintenance or cleaning concerns to leadership

• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful work environment

Qualifications

• Good hand tool skills and ability to complete assigned projects independently

• Basic repair and maintenance skills, including painting, light repairs, and small cosmetic fixes

• Good communication skills

• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual is a plus

• Willingness to be trained, follow direction, and accept guidance

• Strong reliability, teamwork mentality, and consistent daily attendance

• Six (6) to twelve (12) months of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution center, facilities, or industrial cleaning environments preferred

• Forklift experience is a plus

• High school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

• Ability to lift medium to heavy items throughout the day

• Ability to bend, kneel, sit, and move safely while completing assigned tasks

• Ability to perform physical job duties safely without risk of injury
