Salary: $19.00-21.00/hour

Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Construction (Scaffolding) Laborer!

Position Summary: Our client is seeking a dependable Construction Laborer to assist with the setup and teardown of scaffolding at commercial and industrial job sites. This is a hands-on, physically active role that supports crews in preparing safe access systems for construction projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn. Previous scaffolding experience is not required — training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with assembling and dismantling scaffolding systems at various job sites
• Load, unload, and transport scaffolding materials and equipment
• Carry and stage materials as directed by the crew leader
• Follow all safety procedures and job site guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support the crew with general labor tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in a physical construction environment
• Must not be afraid of heights and must be comfortable working at elevated levels
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis
• Construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required

Hours:

• Full-time
• 7am – 5pm
• Approximately 40–50 hours per week depending on job site needs
• Occasional Saturdays may be required based on workload

Pay:

• $19.00 – $21.00/hour
