Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Torch Operator that will be responsible for cutting specialized metal materials into smaller sections to support downstream processing. The position requires safe operation of torch equipment and collaboration with a team member to ensure materials are properly sorted and prepared for further handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate an acetylene torch to cut metal materials such as nickel, cobalt, and titanium into designated sizes.

• Follow established procedures to ensure materials are cut accurately and efficiently.

• Work alongside a helper or serve as a helper by collecting and placing cut materials into designated containers for processing.

• Maintain attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency of completed work.

• Follow all workplace safety standards while handling equipment and materials.

• Assist with general material handling as needed.

Equipment Used:

• Acetylene torch fueled by acetylene gas cylinders

• Overhead crane for material handling

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating torch cutting equipment preferred

• Ability to work safely with industrial equipment and materials

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work accurately

• Willingness to learn and contribute to team objectives

• Strong work ethic and reliability

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Heavier lifting tasks will be performed with assistance or equipment

• Ability to stand and work in an industrial environment for extended periods
