Overview: The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction throughout the resort. This position is responsible for ensuring all assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas, are impeccably clean and well-maintained, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing all surfaces (furniture, fixtures, woodwork, etc.).
Clean and sanitize assigned areas thoroughly, including guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens (if applicable), and common areas like corridors, elevators, lobbies, and stairwells.
Change bed linens and towels, and make beds to hotel standards.
Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and light fixtures.
Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and storage areas.
Guest Services:
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
Provide timely delivery of any items requested by guests.
Restock supplies in assigned areas, such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens.
Complete linen requisitions to replenish linen supplies.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
