Express Employment Professionals is seeking hardworking Shop Laborers for a manufacturing facility in the Lemont Furnace, PA area. This position supports the production and handling of steel pipe used in plumbing, fire sprinkler, and HVAC systems.

This is a hands-on role working in a manufacturing shop environment assisting with material handling, production support, and general shop operations.

 

Shift & Schedule:

 

Day Shift

1. Monday – Thursday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
2. Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (standard overtime)
3. Saturday: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM or 3:00 PM (when scheduled)
4. Sunday: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM (voluntary overtime when needed)

Night Shift

• Monday – Thursday: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (occasional overtime)

Job Duties of the Shop Laborer:

• Assist with handling and staging steel pipe and materials
• Support machine operators and production staff
• Load and unload materials in the shop
• Prepare pipe and components for processing or shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform general shop and warehouse duties as assigned
• Follow safety procedures and shop guidelines

Requirements of the Shop Laborer:

1. Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment
2. Ability to lift heavy materials as required
3. Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical tasks
4. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
5. Reliable attendance and transportation
6. Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and want to build experience in a manufacturing environment.
