Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk
Pay: $18.50/hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk for a warehouse facility in Shawnee, KS. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring products are available to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records

• Physically count product and verify quantities in the system

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

• Use RF scanners to track and manage inventory

• Review and correct negative inventory reports

• Work with internal teams to resolve stock location issues

• Assist with order processing and order dropping functions as needed

• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to determine freight carriers

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and report unsafe conditions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous inventory control or warehouse experience preferred

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Strong attention to detail and math skills

• 10-key experience preferred

• Experience with JDE or other warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a warehouse environment

• Ability to operate or become certified on an Order Picker / Cherry Picker

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
