What You Will Be Doing

• Processing medical billing, coding, and insurance claims for healthcare services
• Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payment posting
• Reviewing patient records and documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing
• Maintaining and organizing medical records, files, and documentation in EMR/EHR systems

Must-Have Skills

• Experience in Medical Billing, Medical Coding, Medical Records, or AP/AR in a healthcare environment
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards
• Experience working within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems
• Knowledge of insurance claims processing, payment posting, or revenue cycle support
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general healthcare office software

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Certification such as CPC, CCS, or Certified Medical Billing Specialist
• Experience with Epic, eClinicalWorks, Athenahealth, or similar healthcare systems
• Background working with specialty medical practices
• Experience with denials management or insurance follow-up
• Bilingual (Spanish or another language)
