Production Coordinator (1st shift - Remington)

Prepare and issue production schedule

· Read work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements.

· Daily production reporting.

· Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Ensure that proper materials and mixes are used in the production process.

· Maintain labels for production.

· Follow proper policies and procedures.

· Maintain operations data, such as time and production.

· Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

· Send out samples per customer request

· Run quality tests on products

· Follow and enforce safety policies/procedures. Maintain safe working environment.

o Completing accident reports in a timely manner

o Handling of all incidents during work shift.

o Acting emergency coordinator during work shift.

· Attend all required meetings examples: monthly huddles, staff meetings, training etc.

· Required to be flexible with work schedule and hours. Position may require working over, coming in early or altering days off.
