Job Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced CDL Driver with Slickback or Stepdeck experience for a growing operation. This role involves transporting equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites while ensuring all loads are secured properly and delivered safely. Candidates must be able to operate equipment responsibly and follow all DOT and company safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL truck with slickback or stepdeck trailer

• Transport equipment, materials, and tools to and from job sites

• Properly secure loads using chains, binders, straps, and rigging equipment

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles and trailers are safe and compliant

• Maintain accurate driver logs and required DOT documentation

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and crew members

• Assist with loading and unloading equipment when necessary

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL license required

• Previous experience hauling with slickback or stepdeck trailers preferred

• Knowledge of load securement and DOT regulations

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to work 60 hours per week with a flexible schedule

• Comfortable working outdoors and in physically demanding environments

• Must be safety-oriented and team-focused
