Salary: $20.00 - $23.50/hr DOE

Sales Outreach Specialist (Temporary) Job Summary: 

A growing food manufacturing and packaging company is seeking a motivated and professional Sales Outreach Specialist to support a short-term marketing and lead qualification project. This role will focus on contacting organizations from a targeted prospect list to gather information about their operations and determine whether the company’s equipment may be a good fit. This is not a traditional sales role, but rather a research and outreach position supporting the sales team.

Sales Outreach Specialist (Temporary) Responsibilities:

• Make outbound phone calls to organizations from a provided prospect list
• Follow a structured script to introduce the company and ask qualifying questions
• Gather information about each organization’s current meal packaging and distribution process
• Identify whether the organization may be a potential opportunity for the sales team
• Document call outcomes and key information in a CRM system or tracking spreadsheet
• Follow up with organizations when the decision-maker is unavailable or voicemail is left
• Maintain a professional and courteous tone with all contacts
• Provide updates on call activity and progress throughout the project

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• $20.00 – $23.50/hr depending on experience

This is a temporary 3–4 week project expected to begin as soon as possible.

Sales Outreach Specialist (Temporary) Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cold calling, inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service preferred
• Comfortable initiating conversations with new contacts over the phone
• Strong verbal communication and phone presence
• Ability to follow a script while maintaining a natural and conversational tone
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately capture information
• Organized and able to manage a high volume of calls
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with spreadsheets or CRM systems
• Persistent and comfortable following up with contacts when needed
