Job Title: Press Brake Operator.
Location: Wellford, SC.
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM.
Training: 4 weeks on 1st Shift – Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Pay: $24/hour.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Wellford, SC. This position is responsible for the precision bending and forming of smaller, detailed metal parts using a press brake according to blueprints and work orders. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience working with tight tolerances, and the ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts per blueprints and work orders

• Perform precision bending and forming of smaller, detailed metal parts to exact specifications

• Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures

• Select proper tooling and ensure accurate machine settings for each job

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and job orders

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and designated work area

• Inspect finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements:

• Successfully pass a skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

• 1–2 years of press brake experience required

• Basic math skills including conversions

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Ability to adapt, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-changing environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of onboarding
