Mechanical Assembler 

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday – Thursday
Employment Type: Direct Hire

We are seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler for a direct hire opportunity in a custom manufacturing environment. This role focuses on assembling large mechanical components and machinery on a project-by-project basis. The Mechanical Assembler works independently from blueprints and work instructions to produce quality builds that meet safety and customer specifications. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and systems using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Ensure assemblies meet quality standards, specifications, and production timelines
• Use precision measuring tools to verify fit, alignment, and accuracy
• Inspect materials and assemblies throughout the build process
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed during assembly or troubleshooting
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical build issues when necessary

Skills, Competencies & Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical ability
• Experience using common mechanical hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow blueprints or technical drawings
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Basic technical math skills
• High School diploma or GED required
