Welder

We are seeking a dependable Welder to support manufacturing and fabrication operations. This role involves welding and joining metal components, preparing materials, and ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on welding experience, can read basic drawings, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate metal components using appropriate welding methods
• Work in various welding positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or work instructions
• Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment
• Use hand and power tools for metal preparation and finishing
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and specification requirements
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Welding certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or schematics
• Experience with MIG welding; additional welding processes a plus
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and focus on quality
• Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication tools
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• High School diploma or GED preferred
