Salary: $25.00 to $28.00

Our client, a flooring company located in the west end, is seeking a customer-focused Showroom Sales Assistant to join their team. If you are personable and enjoy guiding customers through the purchasing process, this opportunity may be a great fit for you.

Duties may include, but are not limited to: 

• Welcome and greet customers as they enter the showroom
• Assist customers in selecting flooring materials and provide product samples
• Build strong customer relationships by ensuring expectations are met, resolving concerns, and delivering high levels of satisfaction
• Schedule and conduct consultations with clients who have larger projects (e.g., home renovations or multiple bathroom upgrades) to assess their needs and recommend suitable solutions
• Maintain a strong understanding of company products, services, and features to effectively meet customer needs
• Communicate clearly and maintain a professional attitude to provide exceptional and friendly customer service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable workspace
• Perform additional duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous sales or retail experience is required
• Experience with kitchen and bath products is considered a strong asset, though training will be provided
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated with a strong focus on achieving results
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to quickly learn about new products and technologies to perform job duties effectively

Assets: 

• College Diploma in Interior Decorating / Interior Design

Wage: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

4 week days – 8:00am to 5:00pm / Saturdays 9:00am to 4:00pm
