Identify and pursue funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies Lead the development and submission of grant proposals, contract applications, and RFPs Collaborate with program leaders to develop compelling narratives and accurate budgets for proposals Monitor and track institutional funding opportunities Attend bidder conferences and gather information on government funding opportunities Coordinate proposal development across departments to ensure alignment and avoid duplication Maintain accurate records of letters of inquiry, grant proposals, and submissions using donor database systems Review and edit grant proposals for clarity, accuracy, and competitiveness Support the preparation of annual EFSP funding requests Ensure all submissions meet funding guidelines and deadlines Development Manager Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field 3–5 years of nonprofit development, grant writing, or institutional fundraising experience Proven success writing and managing grant proposals Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities Excellent organizational, collaboration, and multi-project management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with donor database systems (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred) Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional judgment
