Position: Cook
Pay: $15/hr
Schedule: Part-time (20–25 hours per week to start) with opportunity for full-time hours.

 

Position Summary
A growing restaurant is seeking a reliable Cook to join their kitchen team. This role is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items while maintaining quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

 

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards

• Assist with ingredient preparation and food assembly

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation

• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

• Support general kitchen operations and assist team members during busy periods

• Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation

Requirements

• Some prior kitchen or cooking experience preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

• Food Handler Certification required (can be completed online if needed)

• Ability to follow recipes and food safety procedures

• Backgrounds cannot include felony theft, financial crimes, or sexual-based offenses
