Event Setup Associate

Job Description:

· This job will take place inside of a brick-and-mortar retail store location, either a new store setup or remodel of an existing location. Employees will be responsible for working with an installation team on store fixture installation of new stores, store remodels, store relocations and product revisions. The various types of job duties will include, but are not limited to, the assembly, disassembly, and adjustment of shelving units and displays; stocking merchandise onto shelving units; carefully reading and interpreting instructions, such as Plan-O-Grams and itemized lists, to ensure product placement meets or exceeds client's expectations; assisting with clean-up; and remaining a positive and productive member of a team to achieve overall mission success.

 

Anticipated Job Duties:

· Utilize step stool to take down/assemble fixtures, adjust track lights, and put away product and merchandise on stockroom shelving.

· Relocating merchandise and setting up displays on the salesfloor in accordance with Plan-O-Grams supplied by on-site supervisor.

· Putting up product and taking down boxes from shelves.

· Assembling/disassembling shelving units and/or displays, and the light demolition, clean up and removal of existing displays.

· Assisting with cleanup, trash removal, and bringing in merchandise/products upon arrival at the location.

Basic qualifications:

· Able to read, understand and communicate in English

· Must be at least 18 years of age

 

Physical requirements:

· Must be able to frequently stand for a prolonged period of time

· Able to regularly bend, squat, kneel, and reach overhead

· Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds

 

Dress Code:

· Steel-toed/Safety-toed/OSHA-toed shoes

· Long pants such as Jeans, Khakis, Dickies

· Work Gloves & Mask where mandated

· Polo style shirt or a t shirt with no graphics or advertising.

Shorts, tank tops, ripped or torn jeans, and jewelry are not permitted
