Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drives truck prompting the company to make complete, accurate and on time deliveries to the company's customers.
• Driver will represent the company in a highly professional manner.
• Complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.
• Proficiency in basic order entry and warehouse shipping/receiving functions. 
• Loading truck, securing items and verifying accuracy.
• Drive truck to deliver materials to customer's home, job site and place of business.
• Collect payments.
• Attend educational and safety meetings as required by management.
• Clean and maintain inside of truck.
• Inspect truck before delivery day, communicate with supervisor on all maintenance or safety issues. 
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record, valid driver's license. Maintain forklift certifications.  
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 
• Provide assistance in the warehouse by unloading trucks, keeping facility clean, answering phones and assisting customers. 
• Ability to read maps, use computerized mapping programs, and follow written and verbal geographic directions. 
• Class B Driver's license required.
• MUST PASS A CRIMINAL AND DRUG TEST.
• Basic computer knowledge to include basic keyboarding and the ability to learn new programs and applications.
