Assistant Manager – Bar Operations
Location: Lakewood Ranch, FL
Pay: $20–$30 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time (20–30 hours weekly)

A well-established private hospitality and event venue in the Lakewood Ranch area is seeking a dependable Assistant Manager to support bar operations during scheduled weekly events. This role works closely with the organization’s operations leadership to ensure smooth event execution, proper staffing, and well-managed bar operations.

The venue operates a bar during weekly event days, with additional preparation hours earlier in the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with bar inventory management and ordering
• Coordinate scheduling for bartenders and support staff
• Ensure bartenders have the supplies and support needed during events
• Assist with setup and preparation prior to event days
• Maintain organization and efficiency throughout event operations
• Communicate regularly with operations leadership to coordinate staffing and supply needs
• Help maintain a positive and professional team environment

Schedule

Typical schedule is ALWAYS:

Thursday: approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sunday: approximately 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Additional preparation hours may occur earlier in the week, including limited hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday to prepare for upcoming events.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory, bar management, or hospitality leadership experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy environments
• Comfortable managing different personalities and resolving operational issues
• Dependable and detail-oriented

Compensation

Pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour depending on experience and skill level.
