Diesel Technician

Location: Aurora,CO
Pay: $30 – $35 per hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Full-Time (Overtime available)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on diesel trucks and heavy equipment

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine tune-ups

• Repair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, fuel systems, and suspension systems

• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical issues

• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability

• Maintain detailed service records and repair documentation

• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Technician

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics

• Experience working on heavy trucks, fleet vehicles, or construction equipment

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in a shop environment

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)

Preferred Skills

• ASE Diesel Certification or equivalent experience

• Experience with Cummins, Detroit, or Caterpillar engines

• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
