Express is recruiting for a hardworking, detail-oriented Athletic Court Surfacing Technician to join an Athletic Court Resurfacing Company. In this role, you will be responsible for the restoration, repair, and surfacing of professional and recreational sports surfaces, including tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts.

You’ll be working with specialized acrylic resins, leveling compounds, and line-striping equipment to transform worn-out asphalt or concrete into high-performance athletic venues.

(Seasonal) May - September (Possible temp to hire)

Monday - Friday (Possible Weekends)

7:00am - 5:00pm (Out of town travel a very high possibility)

Valid Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle a MUST for Traveling Between Job Sites

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Pressure washing, scraping, and clearing debris from existing courts to ensure proper adhesion.
• Crack & Patch Repair: Identifying structural issues and applying specialized fillers or "armor" mesh systems to level depressions.
• Product Application: Using squeegees and sprayers to apply multiple layers of acrylic resurfacer and color coatings.
• Precision Striping: Measuring and masking court boundaries according to ITF/USTA or high school/collegiate regulations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining tools, pumps, and mixing equipment daily.
• Site Management: Ensuring a clean and safe job site and interacting professionally with clients or facility managers.

What You’ll Need (Qualifications)

• Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and perform repetitive manual labor, stand for long periods, kneel, stoop, bend, Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Attention to Detail: Precision is critical—crooked lines or uneven coatings are not an option.
• Reliability: A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation a must.
• Technical Skills: Experience with floor coatings, commercial painting, concrete grinding, fencing, epoxy, or construction is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
