CNC Press Brake Operator

Pay: $26.00 – $32.00/hr 

 

Our Vancouver based client is looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to run an Amada HFBO press brake. The right candidate can write their own programs, handle complete machine setups, select tooling, and troubleshoot independently.

 

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate the Amada HFBO press brake
• Calculate bend deductions and interpret blueprints/work orders
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot forming and machine issues
• Perform routine maintenance and keep work area clean

Requirements:

• Experience operating CNC press brakes (Amada preferred)
• Ability to program at the machine control
• Strong understanding of bend deductions and material behavior
• Blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing skills
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• 3+ years experience preferred
