Billing Analyst (18.00/hr to start, excellent benefits upon hire, M-F 8am - 4:30pm)

 

Local premier insurance company has immediate opening for a Billing Analyst for an evaluation-to-hire opportunity.

 

Job Duties:
- Maintain accounts and determine if new accounts need to be established.
- Process payments distributed by the accounting department. Works daily control listings to ensure money applied to correct accounts. Updates EFT information. Approves refunds.
- Receive calls and emails from offices, in-house personnel, and insureds and responds to any inquiries.
- Responsible for the analysis, research, and resolution of all billing issues reported.
- Research and resolve address returned items and maintain most current known address on the account.
- Confirm policy changes and related premium changes to insured policies

 

Requirements:
- 3 years office/administrative experience
- Typing test over 45 wpm
- Capable user of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Submit to background, drug, credit check, and reference screening
- Must be non-smoking/non-nicotine using

 

18/hr to start. Evaluation to hire position. Position works Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm
