Express Employment Professionals is hiring Machinists on behalf of several local manufacturing clients. Our clients are looking for reliable Machinists with hands-on experience operating CNC and manual machines. If you are a skilled Machinist who can work with precision measuring instruments and produce high-quality parts, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities of the Machinist:
Operate manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and other machining equipment as a Machinist
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to perform machining tasks as a Machinist
Set up machines, change tooling, and make adjustments as a Machinist
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments as a Machinist
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area as a professional Machinist
Collaborate with other team members while performing all Machinist duties efficiently
Required Skills for Machinists:
Experience operating manual and CNC machines as a Machinist
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as a Machinist
Strong knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection processes for Machinists
Attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate parts as a Machinist
Ability to work independently and as part of a team of Machinists
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Preferred Experience for Machinists:
Prior experience as a CNC Machinist, Manual Machinist, or Setup Machinist
Previous work in manufacturing or machine shop environments
Experience performing machine setups, tooling changes, and part inspections as a Machinist
