An Express Employment Professionals client is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate and weld metal components for heavy steel products such as truck bodies, buckets, cable reels, and tanks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on horizontal and vertical welds (1/16" & 3/32" wire)
• Read and follow blueprints, welding procedures, and supervisor instructions
• Use air arc, grinders, and needle chippers to remove slag and smooth welds
• Inspect welds for quality and rework as needed
• Operate overhead cranes and hoists safely
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

• MIG welding experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Must pass in-house weld and bend tests
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work at heights
• Reliable attendance and strong safety focus

Work Environment:

• Heavy steel fabrication facility
• Exposure to heat, noise, fumes, and overhead lifting
