Secondary Machine Operator Job Summary:

A local manufacturer of screws and components is seeking a screw machine operator to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to learn and develop in a trade. Training and a development path will be provided.

Secondary Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate drills, mills, tapping machines, and presses to complete secondary operations on metal components.

• Perform quality checks using various measuring techniques to ensure products meet specifications.

• Maintain a safe and organized workstation, following all safety protocols.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets efficiently.

• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and making minor adjustments as needed.

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday - Friday, Overtime as needed
• $20.00+/HR

Secondary Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Skilled in operating drills, mills, tapping machines, and presses.

• Experienced in performing quality checks with multiple measuring techniques (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting specifications.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to maintain an organized workstation.

• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Reliable with a consistent attendance record and strong work ethic.

• Preferable, but not required: high school diploma or equivalent
