We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper for our construction site located in West Point, GA, 30240. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our project managers with timely financial information. If you have a knack for numbers and a passion for the construction industry, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for all construction projects.
• Process invoices, payments, and payroll in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Prepare financial reports and budgets for project managers.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to track expenses and forecast budgets.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Utilize accounting software to streamline bookkeeping processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma required; associate's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
