Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and/or 1–2 years of related experience in a high precision manufacturing environment.
Practical experience performing under AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditation requirements.
Strong command of GD&T, FMEA, and statistical analysis, along with the ability to read complex mechanical prints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
Must meet the ITAR definition of a U.S. person and pass a 10-panel drug screening.
Act as the primary technical contact for product launches, resolving hardware discrepancies, and providing data for New Product Introduction (NPI) requirements like FAI and PPAP.
Lead investigations into nonconforming parts to identify root causes, implement Material Review Board (MRB) actions, and establish permanent countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
Develop inspection methods, generate instructions for manufactured assemblies, and participate in internal audits of the Quality Management System.
Collaborate with engineers and machinists to analyze quality trends, streamline procedures, and implement fixtures or gauging to enhance productivity and accuracy.
