Our Client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for (1) Construction Laborer!

 

Position Summary:

Central States Scaffolding is seeking a dependable Construction Laborer to assist with the setup and teardown of scaffolding at commercial and industrial job sites. This is a hands-on, physical position ideal for someone who shows up every day, follows direction, and brings a strong work ethic. Previous scaffolding experience is not required — training will be provided.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with assembling and dismantling scaffolding systems at various job sites
• Load, unload, and transport scaffolding materials and equipment
• Carry and stage materials as directed by the crew leader
• Follow all safety procedures and job site guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance (must show up consistently and on time)
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a physical, outdoor construction environment
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Willingness to work at heights
• Construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required

 

Hours:

• Full-time, hours may vary based on job site needs – typically daytime hours, 40-50 per week
• Some Saturdays could be needed down the road depending on workload

 

Pay:

• $19-$21/hr, depending on experience
