Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Welder to join a manufacturing and fabrication team. This position is responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks to assemble metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks, including MIG and other applicable welding processes, to join metal components according to technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal components such as tanks, frames, brackets, and other structural parts.

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity in accordance with industry standards.

• Safely handle welding materials, gases, and equipment while following established safety procedures.

• Maintain welding equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Work collaboratively with fabrication and production team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

• Troubleshoot welding or assembly issues and assist in resolving fabrication challenges.

• Maintain records of welding activities, materials used, and any adjustments made to procedures.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

• Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment as required.

• Assist other team members as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous welding or metal fabrication experience preferred

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Knowledge of MIG welding and other welding techniques

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or shop environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
