Express Employment Professionals of Denton County is looking for a customer‑focused Counter Sales Associate to assist walk‑in customers, process orders, and support daily store operations for a client in Lewisville, TX. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, enjoys helping customers find the right products, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Plumbing or parts‑counter experience is a plus but not required for fast learners.

 

Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: 7a-5p M-F

 

Responsibilities

·       Greet customers and provide product recommendations for plumbing parts, tools, and supplies

·       Assist walk‑in customers, contractors, and technicians with orders

·       Process sales transactions accurately (POS system)

·       Answer phone calls, provide quotes, and follow up on orders

·       Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for pickup

·       Restock shelves and maintain organized product displays

·       Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments

·       Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse support

·       Keep the counter and showroom clean, safe, and customer‑ready

Qualifications

·       Previous counter sales, retail, or customer service experience preferred

·       Plumbing, hardware, or industrial supply knowledge is a plus

·       Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

·       Ability to learn product lines and provide accurate recommendations

·       Basic computer skills for order entry and inventory systems

·       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for most of the shift

·       Dependable, professional, and team‑oriented
