Landscape Maintenance Foreman - Vancouver

Located in Vancouver, BC

Salary: $32.00-$35.00/Hour

We are currently recruiting for a Landscape Maintenance Foreman role in North Vancouver. This is a full-time & permanent role at a local leader in installation and maintenance of outdoor spaces for high end residential homes and strata properties.

Requirements:

•    Demonstrate sound judgment, logical thinking, and a proactive approach on site.
•    Maintain a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driving abstract.
•    Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy in day‑to‑day responsibilities.
•    Comfortable using a smartphone or data-enabled device for communication and time entry.
•    Strong knowledge of native BC plant species and a solid understanding of seasonal garden care.
•    Able to manage time well and work within established schedules and deadlines.
•    Skilled in operating tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, pruners, and hedgers.
•    Bring 1–2 years of leadership experience with a clear understanding of assigned duties.

Great to haves: 

•    Applicable certification (ie. Red Seal) 
•    Ability to read and interpret drawings/renderings, blueprints and specifications 
•    First Aid training

Duties:

•    Lead a small crew in completing tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, line trimming, hedging, blowing, and mulching.
•    Maintain a positive, approachable attitude with coworkers and clients.
•    Coordinate with management to arrange job requirements, installations, deliveries, and daily needs.
•    Provide clear updates to management on progress, delays, concerns, or client feedback.
•    Support seasonal garden maintenance work as required.
•    Work collaboratively with the team, assigning duties to meet time and budget expectations.
•    Communicate professionally with clients and crew members to uphold strong customer service.
•    Follow all Occupational Health and Safety standards on site.
•    Stay adaptable with scheduling, site assignments, and changing weather conditions.
•    Participate in meetings as scheduled with management.
