Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on the materials and project specifications.
• Perform various welding processes
• Weld and fabricate metal components, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to welding standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect completed welds visually or using testing methods to identify and address any defects or inconsistencies.
• Conduct repairs or modifications on existing structures or components as required.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including welding procedures, inspections, and materials used.
• Multi-process stick welding, TIG, MIG, flux-cored, submerged arc, and high-speed gas metal arc welding, and gouging weld services

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding certification or relevant trade qualifications preferred.
• Proven experience as a Welder
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Familiarity with welding codes and standards
• Ability to operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
