Project Coordinator - Vancouver

Salary: 60-80K
We are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator role in Vancouver. This is a full-time & permanent role and will provide support across multiple building code and fire safety consulting initiatives. The role is ideal for an individual who appreciates diverse, technical project work and enjoys partnering with others in a consulting atmosphere.
Requirements:
• Two or more years working in the construction or building industry, preferably in a coordinator-type position.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on improving efficiency and maintaining organized workflows.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Diploma or Degree in a related technical discipline such as Building Technology, Architecture, Engineering, or Urban Planning.
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Solid proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Experience with document control processes.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam is a beneficial asset.
• Able to collaborate professionally with diverse stakeholders.
Duties:
• Maintain organized project files and documents throughout all stages.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and municipal contacts for submissions and required responses.
• Support technical staff with general administrative tasks and project setup activities.
• Manage building permit packages, including preparation and submission.
• Track the status of external submissions and follow up on outstanding items.
• Assist the Project Management team with scheduling and day‑to‑day coordination.
• Prepare progress summaries and analyze project information when needed.
• Arrange couriers and deliveries for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Handle printing, binding, and distributing project documentation.
• Stamp drawings as required.
• Compile and organize documents during construction and occupancy phases.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and required actions with internal and external stakeholders.
