The Home Remodeling Technician is responsible for performing residential renovation and remodeling work on kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and other living spaces. This role involves a variety of construction tasks including demolition, framing, drywall installation, flooring, cabinetry installation, and finish carpentry.
The ideal candidate has strong construction experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a remodeling team.
Perform residential remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and interior renovations
Remove and replace existing materials during demolition and renovation phases
Assist with framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and trim installation
Install doors, windows, and interior fixtures as needed
Measure, cut, and install building materials according to project plans
Perform finish carpentry work including trim, molding, and cabinetry
Support plumbing, electrical, and HVAC trades during renovation projects
Interpret construction drawings, layouts, and project specifications
Ensure measurements and installations meet project requirements
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations
Inspect completed work for alignment, finish quality, and safety
Identify and report structural or design issues
Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Properly operate tools and equipment
Experience with hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, and measuring equipment
Strong carpentry and remodeling skills
Ability to read tape measures and construction drawings
Problem-solving and attention to detail
Ability to work in residential environments with homeowners present
2+ years of home remodeling or residential construction experience
Experience with framing, drywall, flooring, or cabinetry installation
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
Valid driver’s license preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
