Salary: $17/hr-$18.50/hr

Our client, a refrigeration supply company located in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a Front Counter Sales Associate for a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity. Pay is $17 - $18.50/hr, depending on experience. Duties for the Front Counter Sales Associate position include:

• Prompt and accurate fulfillment of customer orders
• Provide customer service: answer questions, provide information, resolve complaints
• Answer phones promptly and courteously
• Enhance customer orders by asking if products are needed that were not specifically requested
• Use a computer to handle invoicing, credits, returns, reclaim, and product procurement
• Help load and unload customer and outside carrier vehicles on occasion
• Help put away stock when needed
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements for the Front Counter Sales Associate are:

• Professional phone etiquette
• Quality customer service
• Multi-tasking and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, database entry, typing
• Ability to cross-reference and recommend substitute products
• Forklift experience preferred

This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity.  Hours for the Front Counter Sales Associate position are 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday. Pay is $17 - $18.50/hr, depending on experience.
