Construction Estimator – Multifamily Projects | $60K+ Salary + Growth Opportunity
A growing construction supply company is seeking a motivated Construction Estimator to support multifamily building projects. This role combines estimating with project development, giving you the opportunity to identify bidding opportunities, work with contractors, and help drive new business.
Schedule & Pay: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Starting at $60,000/year (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and track potential projects through industry databases, customer relationships, and market research.
Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to prepare accurate material takeoffs.
Develop material lists for construction components including doors, trim, hardware, shelving, and related products.
Prepare and submit detailed project estimates and formal quotations.
Communicate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to clarify scope and pricing.
Assist project managers with submittals, product documentation, and change orders.
Maintain organized project files and track bid opportunities through the estimating process.
Requirements:
Experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or construction sales preferred.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with estimating or bidding software is a plus.
Comfortable communicating with contractors, vendors, and project teams.
