Express Employment has a client in Beaumont seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our products to customers, as well as assisting with loading and unloading trucks and operating a forklift. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving:

  • Safely drive company vehicles to deliver pesticide products to various customer locations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

• Loading & Unloading Trucks:

  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.

• Operating Forklift:

  • Operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.

• Additional Duties:

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred but not required).
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and driving.
• Exposure to various weather conditions during deliveries.
