Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage circuits, in industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues
• Maintain compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols during all work activities
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure proper framing carpentry support for electrical installations
• Document all work performed accurately in maintenance logs and reports for future reference and compliance purposes
• Assist in the training of team members on electrical safety practices and proper tool usage

Experience

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a focus on electrical installations and repairs
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings specific to industrial environments
• Proficiency with low voltage wiring as well as high voltage systems in accordance with NEC standards
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices such as schematics readers
• Experience working within construction or manufacturing facilities where safety is paramount
• Knowledge of frame carpentry related to supporting electrical infrastructure is a plus
