Production Scheduler Job Description

The Production Scheduler at a rubber calendering facility is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the production schedule to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products. This role involves analyzing production orders, coordinating with various departments including manufacturing, quality, and logistics and adjusting schedules to accommodate changes in demand, material availability, and equipment maintenance.

Key responsibilities include creating detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules; monitoring progress and addressing any deviations; communicating with team members to resolve bottlenecks; and maintaining accurate records of production activities. The scheduler must also ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, collaborate closely with supervisors and operators, and utilize scheduling software to track and update production plans.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and analytical skills, experience in manufacturing or industrial environments (preferably with rubber calendering), proficiency in scheduling tools and Microsoft Office, and excellent communication abilities. Attention to detail and adaptability are essential for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
