Alarm Monitoring Dispatcher – Call Center

Indianapolis, IN (On-Site – NOT Remote)

$17.00/hr | $17.50/hr upon hire

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for a Security Alarm Monitoring Dispatcher for a well-established security systems company in Indianapolis.

This is a high-responsibility role where you are the first point of contact when a home alarm system is triggered. You will be handling inbound emergency alarm calls, verifying information, and dispatching appropriate emergency services when needed.

Available Shifts

• Thursday–Sunday | 10:00pm–8:00am
• Friday–Monday | 5:00am–3:00pm
• Sunday–Thursday | 6:00am–2:00pm

Training Requirement:
6–8 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
(Training schedule is mandatory before moving to assigned shift.)

What You’ll Do

• Answer inbound alarm system calls
• Verify customer information quickly and accurately
• Dispatch police, fire, or EMS when required
• Document calls using Word and Excel systems
• Maintain professionalism in high-stress emergency situations
• Follow strict security and confidentiality procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous dispatcher or call center experience
• Strong computer skills (Word & Excel required)
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to pass background screening

(No felonies or theft convictions due to the nature of the role)

This is an on-site position only. Not remote.

Compensation

• $17.00/hr while contracted through Express
• $17.50/hr once hired on permanently
