Job Title: Customer Service & Collections Phone Representative

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and professional Customer Service & Collections Phone Representative to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers by phone to resolve account balances, provide excellent customer service, and help customers find solutions to bring their accounts current. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, organized, and able to maintain a positive attitude while handling sensitive financial conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make and receive outbound and inbound calls regarding customer accounts

  • Assist customers in resolving past-due balances

  • Negotiate payment arrangements and follow company guidelines for collections

  • Provide accurate information about account status and payment options

  • Document all customer interactions in the company system

  • Maintain professionalism and compliance with all company and regulatory policies

  • Meet daily and weekly call and performance goals

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service or collections experience preferred

  • Strong phone communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally

  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in collections, call centers, or account resolution

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
