A Manufacturing Company in Aurora, IL is seeking a Bilingual Quality Inspector to join their team!!

 

 

Evaluation to hire opportunity.

 

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

• MUST KNOW HOW TO USE MEASURING TOOLS SUCH AS MICROMETERS, CALIPERS, AND GAUGES.
• Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Two years’ experience in the quality field/ manufacturing
• Experience with metal fabrication
• Ability to effectively read and interpret engineering drawings
• Accurate use of metrology instruments
• Perform tasks with limited or no supervision
• Maintains accuracy and attention to detail always and completes tasks in a timely manner
• Knowledge of dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspection processes

 

Business Need / Purpose of Role:  

 

The target of position is the responsibility for instructing, monitoring, and maintaining the Quality Assurance procedures throughout the quality system. The quality control inspector is a member of the quality department and reports to the Quality Manager.

 

Objectives & Measurement

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities: 

• Works with instructions, blueprints, engineering drawings, BOM and other specifications.
• Performs first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspection and maintains all related documentation as per ISO/IATF
• Helps train new employees in proper assembly techniques and methods.
• Monitor operations to ensure that they meet quality standards
• Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
• Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and software
• Perform data entry and information retrieval using Microsoft Office and other software.
• Support other Quality Department functions as needed
