Job Title: Quality Receiving Inspector  2^nd Shift
Location: Ft Myers, FL
Schedule: 3pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri
Pay: $20 – $23 per hour (based on experience)

 

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Receiving Inspector to join our team at a growing aerospace manufacturing company that produces precision airplane parts and pump components. This role is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, verifying quality standards, and ensuring all parts meet strict aerospace specifications before entering production.

The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing quality control, receiving inspection, and working with precision components. Strong attention to detail and the ability to read technical documentation are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, components, and parts to verify compliance with company and aerospace quality standards
• Review purchase orders, packing slips, and certifications to ensure accuracy and traceability
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
• Inspect parts for damage, defects, or non-conformance before releasing them to production
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
• Work closely with the quality, purchasing, and production teams to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and aerospace standards
• Assist with inventory verification and material identification/labeling

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in quality inspection, receiving inspection, or manufacturing quality control
• Experience in aerospace, machining, manufacturing, or precision parts environments preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift materials as needed in a production environment
