Quality Control Inspector (QCI) – Manufacturing

Position:  Temp to perm

Wage range:  $19 ~ $22 / hour, depending on experience

Hours:  7:00 am ~ 3:30 pm (Monday ~ Friday)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector (QCI) to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that materials, processes, and products meet the highest standards of quality. If you have a strong eye for detail, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in delivering accurate, reliable results, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

Material Inspection:

• Inspect and test incoming materials to ensure product conformity

• Communicate with suppliers regarding quality, certification, and compliance

• Tag suspect materials for disposition and prepare corrective actions for non-conforming items

In-Process & Product Inspections:

• Maintain quality checks throughout production

• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and complete FAI reports

Shipping & Final Inspections:

• Support product inspections before shipment

• Perform final inspections and verify documentation, certifications, labels, packing slips, and part numbers

Customer Support & Continuous Improvement:

• Investigate inquiries and non-conformance issues

• Collaborate on root cause analysis and corrective actions

• Implement measures to prevent defects from reaching customers

• Prepare and verify corrective actions reports

Other Duties:

• Collect, compile, and analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities

• Monitor and recommend corrective and preventive actions

• Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulations

• Communicate effectively across departments to implement quality actions

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment

• Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers

• Ability to read and interpret part drawings, blueprints, and technical documents

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

Education & Credentials

• Adequate education, experience, and training to competently perform this role

• Candidates must possess the necessary skills and credentials to successfully fulfill the responsibilities
