Millwork Delivery Driver (CDL) – Building Materials | NW Milwaukee, WI

A growing building‑materials company in Northwest Milwaukee is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Millwork Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering doors, windows, moulding, and other millwork products to customer locations while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload millwork materials including doors, windows, moulding, and custom wood products.
• Accurately read and complete delivery paperwork, logs, and documentation.
• Identify different wood species, millwork profiles, door styles, and Andersen window products.
• Follow proper lifting, handling, and material‑protection procedures.
• Use company computer systems to navigate orders and delivery information.
• Perform basic product assembly when needed.
• Maintain clean work areas in trucks, warehouse, and yard.
• Uphold strong customer service standards during every delivery.
• Ensure safe driving practices and comply with all DOT regulations for CDL drivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in delivery driving, warehouse work, millwork, building materials, or related industries preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements for Class A CDL.
• Ability to read and interpret basic instructions, delivery documents, and material specifications.
• Ability to perform basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with fractions and decimals.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram‑based instructions.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment including hand trucks, small hand tools, and computers.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and maneuver millwork products (doors, windows, wood moulding).
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout shift.
