CNC Set-Up/Machinist– 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Location: Muskegon Area

We are working with a great local manufacturing company that is looking to add an experienced CNC Machinist to their 1st shift team. This is a clean, well-run shop with strong leadership, steady work, and long-term opportunity.

Shift:
1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set up and operate CNC machines including Haas and Mazak equipment

• Perform machine setups, tool changes, and verify correct tooling

• Make offset adjustments and program edits at the machine as needed

• Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency

• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges

• Troubleshoot machining issues and keep machines running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with Haas and/or Mazak CNC machines

• Ability to perform setups, offsets, and minor program edits

• Understanding of blueprints and machining tolerances

• Experience with CNC mills or lathes

• Strong attention to detail and quality
