Medical Physicist / Medical Dosimetrist – Las Vegas, NV

Are you a skilled Medical Physicist or Medical Dosimetrist looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? We are seeking an experienced Medical Physicist / Medical Dosimetrist to support radiation treatment planning, dosimetry, and radiation safety in a high-volume diagnostic and acute care environment. In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure precise radiation delivery, optimize imaging protocols, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement and research initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.

Required Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Medical Physics, Physics, or a related field

  • 3+ years of diagnostic clinical medical physics experience

  • Experience in high-volume diagnostic radiology, ER, and acute inpatient settings


Required Certifications (Mandatory)

  • American Board of Radiology (ABR) – Board Certified

  • Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB)


Key Expertise

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and clinical expertise in:

  • Diagnostic radiology equipment & imaging software

  • Equipment acceptance testing & annual certification

  • Shielding calculations and site planning

  • Nuclear medicine QA/QC

  • Radiation safety & regulatory compliance

  • Quality assurance and performance improvement

  • Curriculum development and training presentations
